Koniki settled on the Yermakov island in the Danube Delta.

New residents settled in the Ukrainian Danube Delta on June 25: two families of wild horses of the Polish Konik breed were released on the Yermakov island. 

Animals will help preserve the mosaic landscapes and biodiversity of the island through natural grazing.
