Sturgeons lived together with
dinosaurs, 170 000 000 years ago, and could avoid the unhappy fate of their
“fellows”. Unfortunately, the population of this fish is decreasing
dramatically despite the fact that since 2000 the industrial haul of sturgeons
is prohibited in Ukraine and all indigenous species of this rare fish “enrich”
the Red book of Ukraine.
